The Quadrant is a residential road located in the Stamperland area of Clarkston. The road is roughly crescent shaped, and is located in south-western Stamperland. The road also goes over the highest natural peak in Stamperland. The road is composed of Stamperland bungalows.
History[edit | edit source]
The Quadrant originated as a road in the early 1920s. The road was originally created as part of the original Stamperland bungalows development, in the modern day Slamanshill area. The area around the top of the hill here was known as Slamanshill prior to this development.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
The Quadrant starts and ends at Stamperland Hill. Opposite the southern end is Library Hill Park, whilst opposite the northern end is the garages for Stamperland Crescent. The road is almost entirely flat, which is exceptionally unusual for Stamperland.
