Moray Gardens is a residential road located in the Stamperland area of Clarkston. The road is mostly residential and contains one of Stamperland's steepest hills.

History[edit | edit source]

Moray Gardens originated during the original Stamperland terraces development, in the late 1920s. This area was part of Overlee Farm prior to this development. One house near the end of Moray Gardens was built in the 1970s.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Moray Gardens begins at Moray Drive. It has terraces on both sides and turns sharply left and goes down a very steep hill. At the bottom of the hill is the main turning point to turn around and leave. The Muddy Hill is on the left here, with the very back of Overlee Park to the right. Just after the Muddy Hill is a house built during the 1970s. The road then has a gate goes over a restricted usage bridge over the White Cart Water to a substation building.
