History[edit | edit source]
Alyth Crescent was built during the Stamperland terraces development of the late 1920s. The area around here was once considered as a possible location to build a mill, however those plans were dropped. The area was noted for flooding, although this has subsided somewhat after the construction of the Kittoch Flood Defence. Some of the houses face towards the White Cart Water
Appearance[edit | edit source]
Alyth Crescent starts at Monteith Drive. It heads downhill slightly before turning left, with Stamperland terraces facing the road on the left and houses facing away from the road on the right. The road turns left again before flattening off and hitting Alyth Gardens. The houses on both sides after this both face the road. The road then turns left and heads slightly uphill before ending at Monteith Drive.
